    Windows Server 2008 Launch!

    To all those that were able to make it to TechFest 2008, held last Tuesday, January 22nd at the Rizal Ballroom of The Shangri-La Makati, one big Thank You for attending. We hope that you were able to get a lot out of the morning plenary and the afternoon sessions that followed. We thank you for the great feedback submitted on the evaluation forms. The feedback you provided will help us towards further improving our future events.

    We also would like to apologize to those who were not able to come in due to overcapacity.  We do realize that this has caused you much inconvenience and we are truly sorry for this.  Rest assured that we are working on improving our processes to give you a better Microsoft experience in the future.

    TechFest 2008 Presentation Slides NOW AVAILABLE!

    We've uploaded the presentation slides used by all of the speakers at TechFest 2008. Please note that most of the afternoon breakout sessions contained demos which are not part of the PowerPoint decks.

    Most of the slides are available in PowerPoint 2003 format. Two of the presentations are in PDF format.

    Registration is now officially closed

    After a review of the numbers, we have decided not to re-open registration.

    TechFest Registration - CLOSED (for now)

    Despite that we opened registration only today, Monday Jan 7, 2008, the registration system already reached the threshold for the maximum number of of registrants and the system automatically closed and ceased accepting new registrants. We are currently studying the situation and will advise if and when we can re-open registration.

    We apologize for any inconvenience.

    Schedule Updated!

    We changed the schedule for some of the track sessions due to accommodate the request of those that wanted to attend both the SQL Server 2008 and Visual Studio 2008 sessions. We've put all of the "What's New..." sessions in the middle ballroom. The changes are reflected in the schedule below.

The event will also feature key technologies such as Microsoft System Center and Office Communications Server.
